Research into the Relative Influences of Spouses Doing Housework, Family decision-making, and Physical and Mental Health on Chinese Family Marital Satisfaction

Marriage is one of the closest and longest relationships in people’s lives. However, not everyone finds happiness a marital relationship. In recent years, rapid development social economy transformation structure have impacted on traditional marriage relationship China. The stability modern family has encountered severe challenges divorce rate increased year by year. This makes research into factors that influence satisfaction an important topic. We used data from China General Social Survey (CGSS) 2017 to construct structural equation model study influences spouse doing housework (SDH), decision-making (FDM) physical mental health (PMH) Chinese (MS). Our results show SDH positive effect MS, FDM negative PMH MS. affect MS combination, as do PMH. greatest impact followed SDH, weakest relative practical significance for society suggests ways which “harmonious family” could be promoted motivating promote support good style, so improve married couples.
